Saka Bench

.
Natural-edge maple, cedar, enamel paint and varnish; 66" long, 17 1/2" high, and 16" wide.

The Saka bench joins the Kyoto bench in continuing the celebration of Asian influences on Northwest art.  It is made from wood harvested and milled on San Juan Island (except for the short dowels).

Each custom bench varies in dimensions depending on the natural-edge maple board available. If an outdoor installation is requested an oil-based finish will be applied instead of varnish.
